The TP-Link TL-SF1016 16-port Unmanaged Fast Ethernet Switch is designed for SOHO (Small Office/Home Office) or workgroup users, it's rack-mount size metal case design combined with a safety certified internal power supply make the Switch the most robust product which is very cost-effective for a less than 16 user environment. The plug-and-play and auto-negotiation capabilities allow the TP-Link TL-SF1016 Switch to auto-detect its link partner (Ethernet adapter, for example) with the best speed. Each port provides full bandwidth (Maximum with 200Mbps in full duplex mode) without a traditional hub’s collision phenomenon downgrading the performance. All ports can be the uplink (cascade) port which is provided to link to another Switch for more ports expansion.

Go Green with your Ethernet
This new TP-Link TL-SF1016 Switch features the latest innovative energy-efficient technologies that can greatly expand your network capacity with much less power. When a computer or other piece of network equipment is off, the switch can automatically detect the link status of each port and reduce the power consumption of ports that are idle. The TP-Link TL-SF1016 switch also analyses the length of the Ethernet cable connected and adjusts the power usage accordingly, rather than keeping the power consumption in a conventional solution, saving the power that would otherwise be wasted.
Easy to Use
The automatic features of this TP-Link TL-SF1016 switch makes plug and play installation efficient and hassle-free. Auto MDI/MDIX eliminates the need for crossover cables. Auto-negotiation on each port senses the link speed of a network device (10, 100, or 1000 Mbps) and intelligently adjusts for compatibility and optimal performance.
